In order to secure raw materials supply for industrial processes and to overcome the predicted scarcity of some raw materials, the circular economy and efficient separation and recycling processes need to be developed further. In addition, the chemical industry aims to broaden its raw material base to more sustainable feedstocks to meet future climate protection targets.
